The Comebacks: 1950’s Film Noir

Have experiencing three months’ elaborate preparation, Jack Solve: Private Eye produced by A Mackamkelly & Lileeturner, will debut at Temple University Annenberg Hall Studio 1 on May 5th.
The hero of Jack Solve: Private Eye is a detective who is irresistibly infatuated with 1950’s stuffs. He is excessive drinking and smoking, but charming and sophisticated. It seems that he travels through a time-space tunnel, comes to modern society and solves an outstanding theft case. Under the investigation, Jack Solve unveils another big secrets. A seemingly simple issue becomes more complicated. In addition to suspense, comedy is the other theme of Jack Solve: Private Eye. Using professional lighting and elaborated music, production team builds one and another creative and funny plots.
At the same day, two other different-style films will be released, The Art of Being Izzy andMorgellon. The topic of The Art of Being Izzy is cultural identity of Asian-American community. Morgellon is a horrible movie focusing on a rare mental illness. The official screening of the three films is free and opening to everyone. If you are interested in this event, just come and do not forget to bring your friends.

幽默喜劇《Jack Solve: Private Eye》天普大學特映會

美國天普大學媒體研究與製作學系，五月五日將於校內舉行期末展演，參展之各類型作品深受全學院所期待。
由蘿拉・西莉葉教授 (Prof. Laura Zaylea) 所指導的「製作與導演課程」，係媒體研究與製作學系之大學部與研究所共同合開的課程，將於五月五日上午舉行本學期的期末播映，當日將有《Izzy》, 《Jack Solve: Private Eye》以及《Morgellon》等三部不同類型的短片。西莉葉教授表示，她非常期待這學期的創作成果。
其中，拍攝階段便相當受矚目的喜劇作品《Jack Solve: Private Eye》，講述一位迷戀1950年代事物的私家偵探，如何成功解決竊盜案的故事，而一件看似簡單的案件，在偵探傑克・索夫 (Jack Solve) 的追蹤下，更引爆出驚人的真相。
在該片中，除了故事的喜劇效果強烈外，所使用的鏡頭與燈光也具有出色的表現，擔任攝影的 亞當・麥可當努 (Adam MacDonald) 表示：「我們運用不同的燈光，不僅為拍攝最好的鏡頭，也為呈現出演員最好的一面。」
本次特映會於天普大學免費對外開放，歡迎有興趣的民眾一同參與學生們的成果。
